Maria Reese

Maria Reese, MS, currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Carolina Caring, providing strategic oversight for the organization's marketing and communications efforts since March 2024. With over 25 years of experience in the health care industry, Maria has held leadership roles including Owner and CEO of InterConnect Health, LLC, where the focus was on health equity and serving vulnerable populations. Previous positions include Senior Director roles at Get Well and Atrium Health, emphasizing community health programs and operations, as well as effective management of diverse teams. Early in the career, Maria served as Community Services Director and Health Promotion Supervisor, establishing significant programs and collaborations to enhance public health. Maria holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from SUNY Brockport.
