Christel Greiner Butchart

Christel Greiner Butchart is a dedicated educator and facilitator with extensive experience in peace education and conflict resolution. As the Founder and Lead Facilitator of Creating Cohesion since March 2024, Christel focuses on fostering collaborative and supportive environments. In addition, Christel serves as the Director of Peaceful Schools NC at Carolina Friends School since August 2014, promoting peaceful practices within educational settings. Christel's background includes a Master of International Relations with a focus on Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from The University of Queensland, earned between 2013 and 2014, and experience as a Middle School Educator at Carolina Friends School.
