Mary Sylves has extensive experience in the fashion industry, currently serving as Production & Sustainability Manager at Carolina Herrera since April 2011, where previous roles included Senior Production Manager and Production Manager. Mary also contributes to education as an Instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Academy of Art University, teaching courses on sewing and clothing construction. In addition, Mary teaches sewing at The New York Sewing Center. Previous roles include Wardrobe Supervisor and Prop Coordinator at Elephant Larry, Production Manager at Jennifer Behr, and Art Director at College Humor/CHTV, among others. Mary began their career as a Production Operations Manager at Zac Posen, specializing in materials organization for seasonal production. Mary holds a BS in Fashion Design from Philadelphia University and has additional education from the London College of Fashion and Fashion Institute of Technology.
