Nigel Wheeler

Nigel Wheeler has extensive experience in corporate and securities law matters, having served as General Counsel and Vice President at Carolina Hurricanes since April 2020. Prior to this, Nigel worked as an Associate at Bracewell LLP. Nigel's career also includes roles as a Student Attorney at Community Legal Practice Center, an Intern at 162nd Judicial District Court, and Summer Associate at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. Notably, Nigel also has a background in journalism, having worked as a Reporter and Anchor at KXAS, Reporter and Fill-In Anchor at WPEC, and a Reporter at WMDT 47 News. Nigel holds a JD in Real Estate from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
