Rachel Hencher

Rachel Hencher currently serves as a Business Strategy & Data Analyst for the Carolina Hurricanes since June 2025. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as an ORISE Fellow and Research Data Scientist at the US Environmental Protection Agency, focusing on enhancing the multimedia monitoring database for environmental data. Previous experience includes managing business cash flow as a Business Analyst and Accounts Payable Manager at Blue Star Camps and teaching mathematics at both Saint Mary's School and Fortismere School. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University, a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
