Sam Heinsohn

Samantha Heinsohn is an experienced professional in sports entertainment and communications, currently serving as the Director of Entertainment for the Carolina Hurricanes since November 2021, following a role as Entertainment Manager. Prior experience includes working with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment from August 2015 to November 2021 as a Game Presentation Coordinator and Ice Girls/Patrol Manager for the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth, where Samantha managed game night stage operations and promoted inclusivity through the integration of Special Olympics athletes. Earlier positions included Communications/PR Intern and Game Night Staff for the Colorado Avalanche, Communications Assistant for the San Antonio Rampage, and a Media Relations Intern with the Carolina Hurricanes. Samantha holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Journalism from North Carolina State University, completed in 2013.
