Slayton Stewart

Slayton Stewart has a diverse work experience. Slayton started their career in 1995 as a Group Controller at Equity Insurance Managers. Slayton then moved on to American Cellular Corporation where they worked as a Controller/Business Manager from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, they joined Dobson Communications Corporation as a Regional Vice President/General Manager until 2004. In 2003, they also served as a Board Member at the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber. From 2005 onwards, Slayton Stewart worked at Carolina West Wireless, initially as the CEO. In 2006, they became a Board Member at the Competitive Carriers Association and an Executive Committee Member in 2015. Most recently, in 2022, Slayton Stewart joined CTIA as an Executive Committee Member and Chairman of the Board in 2023.

Slayton Stewart pursued their higher education starting in 1988 when they enrolled at the University of Kentucky. Slayton successfully completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance in 1993. After a gap of several years, they decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Wake Forest University School of Business. This educational journey lasted from 2006 to 2007 when they gained expertise in the field of Business.
