April Willis

April Willis has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. April began their career in 1999 as an LPN at Cleveland Pines Nursing Ctr, where they worked until 2001. April then joined Cleveland Regional Medical Center as a Staff RN from 2001 to 2005. April then moved on to CaroMont Health, where they held several positions, including RN - Surgical Intensive Care from 2005 to 2008, RN - Assistant Manager II, Critical Care from 2008 to 2011, and Clinical Informatics Nurse Specialist from 2011 to present. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Clinical Informatics at CaroMont Health.

April Willis has a diverse education history in the field of nursing. April obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Winston-Salem State University in 2011. Prior to that, they received an RN degree from Cleveland Community College in 2001 and an LPN degree from the same institution in 1999. April then pursued further education and completed their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Nursing Administration from Gardner-Webb University in 2013. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including Informatics Nursing from ANCC - American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2016, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation from Epic in 2014, and PCCN from ANCC in 2009.
