Mellisa Gonzales

Clinical Director Support Services at Caromont Health

Mellisa Gonzales has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Mellisa started their career as a Nurse Manager at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in 2004 and worked in that role until 2013. Mellisa then transitioned to the role of Clinical Value Analysis Nurse at the same company, where they worked from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, they joined CaroMont Health as the Director of Med/Surg Critical Care. After serving in that role for four years, Mellisa was promoted to the position of Clinical Director Support Services in 2021.

Mellisa Gonzales obtained an ADN degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Gaston College in 1997. Mellisa later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University, which they completed in 2010. Mellisa then proceeded to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Ashford University in 2012.
