Vipul Sodha

Vipul Sodha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Vipul is currently employed at Carousell as a Lead Engineer, Backend, where they lead three teams of backend engineers and actively contributes to product roadmapping and strategic planning. Vipul played a key role in optimizing engineering processes at Laku6 and engineered an advertisement recommendation platform that resulted in a significant increase in revenue. Prior to Carousell, Vipul worked at Works Applications Co., Ltd. as an R&D Software Engineer, where they were part of the E-commerce product team and implemented a distributed system using Java8 and Kafka. Vipul also developed a multi-level authorization middleware framework. Vipul has also gained internship experience at companies like WebEngage, Crowdfire, Documendz, Smartmumbaikar, and Futurewise Financial Planners Pvt. Ltd., where they developed various software engineering skills and worked on projects related to web development, automation, data analysis, and more. Vipul has also held technical positions at PPD IT and the Computer Society of India.

Vipul Sodha studied at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology. Before that, they attended J.B.Khot High School from 2004 to 2010 and completed their 10th grade education.
