Tarak Shah

Tarak Shah serves as Of Counsel at Carr & Ferrell LLP since May 2010, specializing in the representation of emerging companies and their investors in corporate and licensing transactions, including acquisitions, equity financings, corporate governance, and joint ventures. Prior to this, Tarak was an Associate at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP from October 2004 to April 2010, handling corporate, securities, and M&A matters for public and private companies and their investors. An internship at WilmerHale Legal Services Center in 2002 involved representing pro bono clients on startup legal issues. Additionally, Tarak worked as an instructor at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions from 2000 to 2001, teaching GMAT, GRE, and MCAT classes. Tarak holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Biochemistry from the University of Florida.
