Julie Daum

Julie Daum serves as the Executive Director of Justice at Carrier Sekani Family Services since July 2022 and has held the position of Chair at Mediate BC since September 2020. Julie has extensive experience as a self-employed mediator and has been involved in mediation since August 2008. Previous roles include coaching and mentoring at Continuing Legal Education Society of BC and Mediate BC, as well as instructing courses on supporting Aboriginal families at the College of New Caledonia. Julie began their career with a focus on developing policies and programs in collaboration with local First Nations. Julie holds a Family Mediation Certificate from the University of Northern British Columbia and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, complemented by a degree from The University of British Columbia.
