Kara Hooley

Kara Hooley is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communication and brand management. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at Carrier HVAC since November 2021, Kara focuses on executing comprehensive communications plans for the residential business. Prior to this role, Kara worked as a Communications Strategist at FirstPerson, delivering effective communication strategies to over 70 clients, and as the Director of Marketing Communications for the Indianapolis School of Ballet, where Kara enhanced brand awareness and enrollment. In Kara's earlier career at American Greetings, roles included Customer Development Supervisor and various communications positions, where significant contributions were made to high-profile sponsorship initiatives associated with major events. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Trine University and is pursuing an Executive MBA at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
