Jeff Hayden is the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at [Carrizo Oil & Gas](/org/carrizo-oil-gas). Jeff has over 20 years of experience in financial management and accounting, and has held positions at both public and private companies.

Hayden began their career as a financial analyst at a public accounting firm. Jeff then moved to a position as the Assistant Controller at a small privately-held company. In this role, they were responsible for the finance, accounting, and human resources functions.

In March 2020, Hayden became the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of [Big Tuna](/org/big-tuna) USA, LLC. Jeff was responsible for the company's financial planning and analysis, treasury functions, financial statement preparation, capital budgeting, and strategic planning. Jeff also oversaw the payroll and employee benefits functions.

Shaleen Patel is the Vice President of Corporate Development & Finance at [Carrizo Oil & Gas](/org/carrizo-oil-gas). Shaleen has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry. 

Shaleen started their career as an Analyst in Financial Services Advisory at Ernst & Young. Shaleen then moved to [RBC Capital Markets](/org/rbc-capital-markets) where they worked as an Associate in Energy Investment Banking. In 2010, they joined [Carrizo Oil & Gas](/org/carrizo-oil-gas) as the Vice President of Corporate Development & Finance. 

In their current role, Shaleen is responsible for leading the company’s capital markets activities, including equity and debt financings, as well as advising on mergers and acquisitions. Shaleen has played a key role in Carrizo’s growth strategy, helping to finance and close several major acquisitions. 

Shaleen is a graduate of the [University of Pennsylvania](/org/university-of-pennsylvania) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

Greg Percival is the current Vice President and Chief Information Officer at [Carrizo Oil & Gas](/org/carrizo-oil-gas). Greg has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology and has held various leadership positions at companies such as KRATON Polymers and Clearsource, Inc. 

Percival has a proven track record of successfully establishing, planning, and implementing information technology strategies and internal processes to achieve corporate goals. Greg also has extensive experience in managing global IT budgets and directing global transition projects. 

Under Percival’s leadership, the reliability, availability, and performance of the corporate financial system was significantly increased at Clearsource, Inc. This was accomplished through the creation of a development environment and the implementation of a formal change management process.

Doug Reid is the Vice President of Exploration at [Carrizo Oil & Gas](/org/carrizo-oil-gas). Doug has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on exploration.

Doug started their career in 1997 as an Explorationist with Edge Petroleum. Doug was responsible for generating oil and gas drilling prospects using 3-D and 2-D seismic with subsurface data. Doug also developed sales packages and presented prospects to potential investors/partners. During their time with Edge Petroleum, they were responsible for the discovery of Cuatro de Julio, Feliz Navidad, and Sarco Creek.

In 2000, Doug joined Carrizo Oil and Gas as a Senior Explorationist. In this role, they were responsible for generating oil and gas prospects in Texas and south Louisiana incorporating 3-D and 2-D seismic with subsurface data. Doug also evaluated prospects from outside generators for potential investment and generated play concepts including gas & oil resource plays. During their time with Carrizo Oil and Gas, they were responsible for the discovery of Provenance, Faith-Mag Deep, and MegaMata.

In 2020, Doug joined [Callon Petroleum](/org/callon-petroleum) as a Contract Geoscientist.
