Peter Tormey

Peter Tormey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data management and analysis. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Carroll College since January 2023, Peter also holds managerial roles at SoFi, where responsibilities include overseeing a high-availability PostgreSQL infrastructure and orchestrating microservice databases with Kubernetes since February 2016. Previous positions include serving as a Meditech SQL Server DBA at St. Peter's Hospital, a DBA and Senior Data Analyst at New West Health Services, and a Systems Analyst for the State of Montana, along with financial analysis roles at Lakeview Center, Inc. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of West Florida in 2008.
