Jay Stroup

Jay Stroup is an experienced cybersecurity leader and educator, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania SERS since January 2020, where responsibilities include developing and implementing security programs and policies. Simultaneously, Jay Stroup is an Adjunct Professor at Carroll Community College, teaching Unmanned Aviation Systems and preparing students for CFR Part 107 Certification. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Enterprise Architect at the U.S. Department of Energy and as a Program Manager for the FAA as a President's Management Council Fellow. Jay Stroup's background encompasses roles in both the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Navy, complemented by advanced degrees in Computer and Information Systems Security and Aeronautical Science.
