Russell Teicheira has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Russell currently works at Visa as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Administrator for A STEP FORWARD, INC. and Carrum Health in 2021 and 2020 respectively. In 2021, they also co-founded G&T Consulting, specializing in WordPress site building and maintenance, Google AdWords, and SEO optimization. In 2020, they worked as an Engineer at Fitness Warehouse Direct, responsible for repairing and maintaining exercise equipment. In 2021, they also served as a Web Administrator at UV Pure Technologies, where they rebuilt their webstore. Prior to that, they had roles at CVS Health, PayPal, NetSuite, and Chevron, where they gained experience in various aspects of information security, compliance, risk assessment, and IT administration.
Russell Teicheira began their education in 2001 at Diablo Valley College, where they pursued their studies without completing a specific degree or field of study. In 2003, they transferred to California State University, Chico, and successfully completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems in 2008. Russell'sfield of study at Chico State was focused on Management Information Systems in general.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Russell Teicheira also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In September 2008, they received the ITIL version 3 Foundation certification from EXIN. Later, in December 2011, they obtained the Certificate of Membership from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
Beginning in 2016, Russell Teicheira pursued various certifications related to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) from the PCI Security Standards Council. In October 2016, they achieved the certifications of Payment Card Industry Internal Security Assessor (PCIP) and PCI Professional (PCIP). Continuing their commitment to maintaining updated qualifications, they obtained the Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) certification again in October 2019. Russell Teicheira has also achieved the latest certifications in this field, with the Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) certification obtained in October 2022, as well as the Payment Card Industry Internal Security Assessor certification obtained in November 2022.
