Claude Torrez

Claude Torrez is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering, with extensive experience in sustainable chemistry. Currently retired from Carsat Hauts-de-France since January 2023, Claude previously served as Deputy Team Leader for Sustainable Chemistry at Junia_ingénieurs from October 2020 to December 2022. Prior to this role, Claude worked at Yncréa Hauts-de-France from July 2017 to October 2020, holding dual positions as Deputy Team Leader and Head of the Textile Chemistry and Processes Department. Claude's career began at HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur, where from January 1984 to July 2017, Claude was the Head of the Textile Chemistry and Processes Department and a Research Lecturer in Chemical Engineering. Claude holds an engineering diploma in Chemical Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, completed between 1977 and 1982, with additional education at Lanchester Polytechnic in Coventry in 1979.
