Ashby Goldstein

Ashby Goldstein is an accomplished music educator with a robust background in teaching and administrative roles. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Music Education and Bands at Carson-Newman University since August 2022, Ashby has also held various leadership positions, including Executive Director of Penny's Marching Arts Training Camp since June 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University and as Director of Bands at multiple high schools and middle schools, including Sebastian River High School and Gifford Middle School. Ashby is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Music Education at The Ohio State University, having previously earned a Master’s degree in Instrumental Conducting from Southern Oregon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from Florida State University.
