System Engineer at Carson & Saint

Malcolm Smith began their work experience in 2006 as the STA+ Program Manager at JCSU IT Dept. Malcolm held this role until May 2010. In 2011, they joined the U.S. Department of State as a Sr. Systems Analyst, where they worked until 2013. In the same year, they joined Carson & Associates as a Systems Lead, a role they held until September 2021. During their time at Carson & Associates, they also worked as a System Engineer.

Malcolm Smith pursued their higher education from 2005 to 2010 at Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU), where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, in December 2017, they obtained a certification in Risk Management from Cybrary. In the same year, they also acquired certifications in Organizational Data Security Fundamentals, and Cryptography, both from Cybrary. Interestingly, Malcolm Smith obtained the Cryptography certification in February 1987.
