Brendan Phelan

Brendan Phelan is an experienced technology and business development professional with a strong background in additive manufacturing and X-ray micro-computed tomography. Currently serving as Technology Manager at Carten Controls Ltd. since June 2022, Brendan is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, focusing on long-term strategic planning. Prior roles encompass managing multidisciplinary teams in research and development, representing Carten Controls at industry events, and developing innovative techniques in XMT. Brendan's earlier career includes positions at South Eastern Applied Materials Research Centre, Waterford Institute of Technology, BS&B Safety Systems, Bausch + Lomb, and FastForm Research, with a solid educational foundation comprising an M.Eng in Precision Measurement and a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Waterford Institute of Technology.
