Christian Reece

Christian Reece has worked in the biotechnology industry since 2007. Christian began their career at Sigma-Aldrich as Global Product Manager, leading the $4 million qPCR product line before being promoted to manage the $20 million PCR portfolio and then the $45 million genomics category. In 2011, they joined Strategic Diagnostics as Global Product Manager, leading the custom antibody development services for pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies. In 2012, they joined Affymetrix, Inc. as Senior Global Product Manager, supporting the revitalization of instruments, software, and consumables for expression microarrays. In 2016, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as Senior Global Product Manager, managing a $60 million portfolio of sequencing systems and software tools designed for Human Identification (HID) applications. Later in 2016, they joined Fluidigm Corporation as Senior Global Product Manager, leading the commercialization of Polaris, a novel system that combines sequencing and functional characterization of single cells. In 2018, they joined CRX3 Consulting as Principal Consultant. In 2019, they joined Carterra as Senior Global Product Manager, leading the development and commercialization of a high-throughput surface plasmon resonance (SPR) system designed for high-definition characterization of the interactions between antibody libraries and their target antigens.

Christian Reece has a Masters of Business Administration from McGill University and a Masters of Science in Molecular Biology & Genetics from the University of Alberta.
