Gabriel Coutinho de Paula

Gabriel Coutinho de Paula is an experienced software engineer specializing in blockchain technology and decentralized applications. Currently serving as a Lead Blockchain Engineer at Cartesi since June 2020, Gabriel has also held roles as L2 Wizard and Software Engineer within the same company. Prior to this, Gabriel worked as a Software Developer at GoBlock from January 2018 to June 2020, focusing on smart contracts and the Ethereum network. Gabriel's early career includes research and internship positions at the Laboratory for Advanced Collaboration and the Apple Developer Academy at PUC-Rio, as well as teaching assistance and research roles during undergraduate studies at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. Gabriel holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and an Engineer’s degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
