Daniel Madhavan

Daniel Madhavan is a distinguished professional in the field of sustainable finance and impact investing. Currently a Lecturer in Sustainable Finance at the University of Melbourne, Daniel delivers educational content focused on impact investing. As a Partner at Ecotone Partners and a Juror for the Cartier Women's Initiative, Daniel contributes to advancing sustainable business practices. Previously, Daniel held the role of CEO at Impact Investment Group, where efforts were directed towards aligning financial returns with significant social and environmental benefits. Daniel also served as Chairperson for YGAP, promoting innovative poverty alleviation strategies, and as CEO of Impact Investing Australia, which enhances impact investment participation in Australia. Daniel's extensive experience includes leadership roles at JBWere and Goldman Sachs JBWere, where management of large teams and strategic operational initiatives were key responsibilities. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Finance) from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
