Jonas Witt

Jonas Witt has a diverse background in the field of robotics and software development. Jonas is currently serving as the CTO & Co-Founder at Cartken since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Google as the CTO & Co-Founder of the Area 120 Robotics Project from 2018 to 2019. Before that, Jonas was a Senior Software Developer in Robotics at X: The Moonshot Factory, where they contributed to the development of advanced robots. Jonas also worked as a Software Developer in Robotics at the same company. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Bosch North America as a Senior Research Engineer and Research Engineer. Jonas also served as a Research Assistant at Hamburg University of Technology, where they worked as a PhD candidate in computer vision. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Intern in the Autonomous Systems Lab at CSIRO, where they developed a path planner for autonomous underwater vehicles.

Jonas Witt completed their education at Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg. From 2003 to 2008, they pursued a Diplom degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Technology. Subsequently, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained their Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Vision from 2008 to 2015. In addition, Jonas Witt also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master, which they obtained from the Scrum Alliance in November 2014.
