Wolfgang Hess

Wolfgang Hess has a comprehensive work history, starting with their current position as a SLAM Engineer at Cartken since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lyft from December 2017 to April 2022, holding the role of Staff Software Engineer. Wolfgang also gained valuable experience at Google, where they served as a Staff Software Engineer from August 2014 to November 2017, and as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2010 to July 2014.

Wolfgang Hess began their education at the Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they pursued a degree in Diplom-Informatiker at the university. Subsequently, from 2000 to 2006, they also obtained a degree in Diplom-Mathematiker from the same institution. Continuing their academic journey, Hess enrolled at Technische Universität Darmstadt once again and completed their doctoral studies in Mathematik, earning a degree of Dr. rer. nat. Wolfgang concluded their education at the university in 2010.
