Antonio Hita

Antonio Hita has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and transportation sectors. Antonio started their career as a Student Intern at Accenture in 2012. Later that year, they joined Goal Systems as a Senior Consultant, where they focused on implementing integrated IT systems for public transport agencies and developing transport modeling solutions. In 2016, they became the Service Manager - Team Leader at Goal Systems, overseeing services management and project budgeting for transit agencies in several countries.

In 2017, Antonio joined PTV Group Iberia as the Professional Services Manager, where they were responsible for logistic routes planning software business development in Spain. Antonio also played a key role in project management and delivering presentations on PTV products.

Antonio's most recent role is Director of Solutions Engineering at CARTO, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Solutions Engineer at CARTO, starting in September 2020. Antonio Hita has a diverse educational background with a focus on engineering and technology. Antonio completed a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Granada from 2005 to 2012. During this time, they also pursued further studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, earning another Master of Engineering degree in the same field from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they attended the Università degli Studi di Cagliari from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained another Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
