Argyrios Kyrgiazos

Argyrios Kyrgiazos has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Argyrios began their career as a Lab Demonstrator at the University of Surrey before moving on to become a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the same institution. In 2016, they joined IRI as a Scientific Software Engineer/Senior Researcher, where they developed software to explore, analyze, and model large data sets, as well as managed and processed large data sets from multiple sources. In 2019, they began working at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company as a Senior Data Scientist, where they extracted, explored, and prepared data according to various use cases. In 2020, they joined CARTO as a Data Scientist.

Argyrios Kyrgiazos received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey in 2013. Argyrios also obtained an Msc in Mobile & Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2008. Argyrios also attended the University of Surrey but did not receive a degree.
