Jean Barrett

Jean Barrett has a diverse work experience in finance and strategy roles. Jean is currently working as the Head of Finance Business Partnering at CarTrawler since May 2023. Before that, they held various positions at Commonwealth Bank, including Senior Manager, Business Insights Manager, and Finance Manager. At Commonwealth Bank, they were responsible for providing financial information and reporting, working closely with frontline teams, presenting results to the senior management, and being a key business partner for different teams. Prior to their time at Commonwealth Bank, Jean worked as an ACA Financial Reporting Analyst at JPMorgan Chase and as a Senior Associate in Financial Services Audit at KPMG Ireland. Jean also had a summer placement at Central Bank of Ireland as a Bank Officer, where they gained insights into the financial services sector.

Jean Barrett completed their Bachelor of Business Studies in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin between 2004 and 2008. Following that, they pursued a course at The Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2008 to 2012, culminating in their successful completion of the Final Admitting Exams in 2012. This course focused on ACA and Accounting.
