Christian Plekavic

Christian Plekavic is an experienced plant manager with a strong background in chemical engineering and biochemistry. Currently serving as the Plant Manager for Permanganates at Carus, Christian oversees potassium permanganate production, leads a team of process engineers and operators, and has significantly contributed to safety culture and operational efficiency. Previous roles include Production Manager at PQ Corporation, where Christian managed furnace operations, implemented process improvements, and significantly reduced costs. In an earlier position as ICD Team Leader at VVF Group, Christian successfully improved operational processes and training programs. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Benedictine University.
