Brittney Monroe

Brittney Monroe has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Brittney currently holds the position of Engineering Team Lead at Carvana since July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Carvana as a Senior Engineer, Special Projects from June 2022 to July 2023, and as an Engineer II, Special Projects from April 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Carvana, they worked at LEGO Group as a Data Engineer from January 2019 to April 2021.

Their earlier experience includes working at Transamerica as an Intermediate DBA from May 2017 to January 2019, and at Reed Exhibitions as a Database Analyst from December 2015 to May 2017.

Brittney also worked as a Researcher at UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain - Corina Lab in 2012 and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Davis from September 2011 to March 2012.

Brittney Monroe's education history begins in 2009 when they attended the University of Connecticut and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Linguistics in 2011. Following that, in 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Linguistics at the University of California, Davis. After a brief gap, from 2014 to 2017, they attended Sacred Heart University and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Brittney Monroe also obtained a certification as an AWS Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2018.
