Alex von Brandenfels

Alex von Brandenfels has had a diverse work experience since 2015. Alex began as a Software Engineer Intern at FabTrol Systems Inc. in 2015, and then moved to Software Developer at Palo Alto Software in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at both Google and Rocket Gifts LLC, where they were also the Owner. In 2021, they joined Shef as a Software Engineer, and in 2022, they became the Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Lead at Carver Edison. During their time at Google, they designed and built an extension to a subscriptions lifecycle service, which has processed millions of sponsored subscriptions without incident. At Palo Alto Software, they reduced page load times by 75-90% and improved IMAP message ingestion speed in an email product by 133x.

Alex von Brandenfels obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon between 2013 and 2017.
