Jay Gillies

Jay Gillies has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Jay started as a Photographer for Enchanted Celebrations in 2013, then moved on to Market Research Intern at Canada Life Reinsurance in 2016. In 2017, they served as a Pricing Intern at AIG, where they created an Excel-based tool using VBA to automate the department's Value at Risk calculator and assisted the pricing team in developing an algorithm to streamline the underwriting process. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Data Engineer and Technical Data Analyst at Bloomberg LP.

Jay Gillies attended Howell High School from 2010 to 2014. Jay then attended Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Actuarial Science. Jay also obtained two certifications from the Society of Actuaries, Exam P/1 in September 2016 and Exam FM/2 in February 2016.
