Brian Pugsley

Brian Pugsley is an experienced library director at Cary Academy since July 2018, where responsibilities include developing a strategic plan for the library as a vibrant learning center. Pugsley collaborates with school leadership to ensure that the library program effectively serves learners at all levels. Previously, Pugsley served as a university library technician at NC State University from November 2011 to July 2018, focusing on patron assistance and optimizing service efficiency. Pugsley is also a sports official for NCHSAA since September 2010 and has held managerial roles in various organizations, including overseeing operations at Wheels Family Fun Park and managing camps at Emagination Computer Camps. Pugsley earned a Master of Science in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
