J. Michael McElreath

J. Michael McElreath is the Education Initiatives Director at NC History Center on the Civil War, Emancipation, and Reconstruction, managing educational programs and resources for teachers and students across the state. With a background in experiential learning and social studies education, McElreath has experience at Cary Academy, NC Governor's School East, and various other educational institutions. J. Michael holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tulane University.
