Bill Laramore

Vice President, Strategic And Homeland Defense at CAS

Bill Laramore has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bill served as the Vice President and Senior Consultant at Common Sense Consulting Services (CS2) from 2015 onwards, where they focused on strategic alliances and partnerships. With a background of 28 years in the military and 12 years in DOD contracting, they utilized their knowledge to advise and assist in building new alliances and partnerships for companies.

Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Strategic and Homeland Defense at CAS from 2003 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and implementing strategic partnerships and new business opportunities in the Western United States. Their responsibilities also included project and workforce management, strategic alliances, analysis, forecasting, cost and schedule adherence, and auditing for 16 separate contracts.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Bill Laramore had an extensive career in the US Army. From 2002 to 2003, they served as the Director of Operations, managing and controlling the most secure and robust command center. Bill also held the position of Command Director from 2000 to 2002, where they were responsible for executing time-critical, Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and threat assessment. In addition, they served as the Chief of Long Range Strategic Plans from 1998 to 2000, providing policy planning advice for the Joint Staff/J5 and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Furthermore, they commanded the Patriot Brigade of the XVIII Airborne Corps as a Brigade Commander from 1996 to 1998, overseeing the training, maintenance, and leadership of a large group of active duty soldiers and USAR soldiers.

Bill Laramore attended Arkansas Polytechnic University and Long Island University from 1971 to 1975. Bill obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree during this time, but the field of study is unknown.
