Chin-Wen Wu

Information Scientist at CAS

Chin-Wen Wu has a diverse work experience. They started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Yuanpei University from September 2002 to June 2004. They then worked as a Part-Time Substitute Teacher at Yu-Hsien Junior High School from September 2005 to January 2006. Following this, they worked as a Research Assistant at the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center from September 2004 to January 2008, where they gained experience in recombinant DNA technologies, biochemistry of proteins, and X-Ray protein crystallography. They then worked as an Assistant Engineer at the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research from February 2008 to July 2009. Moving forward, they joined Lehigh University as a Research Assistant in January 2012, where they designed and constructed an apparatus for gas mixture isotherm measurement and performed systematic measurements of adsorption isotherms for gases. Finally, they currently work as an Information Scientist at CAS since December 2018.

Chin-Wen Wu holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University. They also obtained a Master's Degree from the same institution in the field of Institute of Bioinformatics and Structural Biology. Later, Chin-Wen Wu pursued further education and completed their Doctorate in Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University. In addition to their formal education, there is an additional certification mentioned, namely the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N1 level, but no further details are provided.
