Lihua Nie has a strong background in scientific research and analysis. They began their career as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, where they focused on synthesizing compounds for studying defense mechanisms in leaf beetle larvae. They then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Ohio State University, conducting research on protein function and interactions. Currently, Lihua Nie is employed at CAS, where they have held multiple roles, including Information Scientist Manager, Information Scientist, Associate Information Analyst, and Assistant Scientific Information Analyst.
Lihua Nie pursued their education in the field of Analytical Chemistry. From 1997 to 2000, they completed their Master's degree at Beijing Normal University. Lihua then went on to earn a Ph.D. from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy for Sciences, from 2000 to 2003.
