Carlos Almeida

Carlos Almeida is a Portuguese stage technician who currently works at Casa da Música. Carlos has previously worked as a sound engineer for various companies, including Lisbon Film Orchestra, Casa da Música, Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa, Orquestra de guitarras e baixos eléctricos, and Sixtudio. Carlos has also been a freelance sound engineer since 2001.

Carlos Almeida studied music production and technology at ESMAE, a music school in Portugal. Carlos also studied musical performance at the Escola de Musica do Conservatorio Nacional, another music school in Portugal. In addition, they studied jazz bass guitar at the HCP-Escola de Jazz Luís Villas Boas, a jazz school in Portugal. Finally, they studied electrical engineering at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, a university in Portugal.

Carlos Almeida reports to Paulo Sarmento, General Manager. They are on a team with José Vilela - Stage Technician, Rita Albuquerque - Financial, Administrative and Management Control, and Luísa Bessa - Institutional Relations, Development and Fundraising.
