CASA DC is a volunteer driven non-profit whose mission is to advocate in court on behalf of foster youth in the District of Columbia.  The majority of these children have been neglected and abused. Community volunteer advocates are recruited, screened, trained and supported by CASA DC's professional support staff.

CASA DC is a non-profit organization incorporated in the District of Columbia in 2002 and a certified affiliate of the National CASA Association.

The Child Advocacy Team at CASA DC is dedicated to representing the best interests of foster youth in the District of Columbia. Comprised of trained volunteers and professional staff, the team works collaboratively to advocate in court, ensuring that the voices of these vulnerable children are heard and their needs are addressed. They provide crucial support to foster youth by building relationships, gathering information, and making informed recommendations to help guide the court's decisions.
