CASA DE MARYLAND
Baltimore Regional Director Lydia Walther-Rodriguez has joined CASA in 2012. Prior to her current role, Lydia has served as a Community Organizer and Lead Organizer. Since she migrated to the U.S. from Panama, she has lived in Baltimore City for more than twelve years. She began advocating for immigrant rights as a student activist at Morgan State University fighting for the Maryland DREAM Act in 2010. She has advanced CASA’s Police Reform campaign, expanded its youth college access program, and led the Baltimore region’s community organizing team. She holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from Morgan State University.
