David Duarte

David Duarte, CPA, currently serves as Controller at Casa Dorinda since May 2023, with extensive experience as a Certified Public Accountant in a self-employed capacity since November 2015, providing external audit support, accounting consultation, and professional tax services for individuals and businesses. Previously, David held the Controller position at VNA Health from July 2017 to April 2023, and worked at MacFarlane, Faletti & Co. LLP from December 2010 to October 2015, where responsibilities included managing audits, financial statements, and training junior staff. Earlier experience includes a role as Lead Server at Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe from October 2005 to June 2011. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Allan Hancock College.
