Matt Rands

Matt Rands is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in product development and design enhancements across various industries. Currently employed at Casa Herrera, Inc. since March 2023, Rands leads the Tortilla Inspection System New Product Development Program and focuses on optimizing designs for manufacturability and efficiency. Prior experience includes roles at Global Environmental Products, Inc., where Rands spearheaded the Pneumatic Roller NPD Program and managed a cross-functional team, as well as serving as a Production Supervisor and Mechanical Engineer at the same company. Additional positions held include acting systems engineer at General Micro Systems, plumbing engineer at GMEP Engineers, and a background in delivery and warehouse work at Interstate Batteries. Rands holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, earned between 2010 and 2015.
