Ahmed Shaariq Nizar has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Ahmed Shaariq has held various roles since 2003, beginning with a Senior Risk Analyst at Close Brothers plc - Premium Finance. Ahmed Shaariq then moved to Barclays Bank Plc in 2005 as an Associate Director- Audit Manager - Market Risk, Treasury & Models. In 2008, they became a Director - Principal Audit Manager - Risk & Financial Reporting at Deutsche Bank. Ahmed Shaariq then moved to UBS in 2013 as an Executive Director. In 2015, they joined Standard Chartered Bank as Head, Data Quality Management & Risk, Data Lake, and in 2019 they became Head of Audit - GTO Group Functions & Risk Technology. In 2019, they also became a Principal at Bradby Associates, and Co-Founder of Casa Mia Coliving. In 2020, they became an Entrepreneur at Antler. Additionally, they have been a Mentor at Everwise since 2019.
