Steve Owen

Steve Owen currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for CASA Nashville since August 2023. Previously, Steve held multiple leadership positions at CoreCivic from March 2011 to June 2020, including Vice President of Communications, Managing Director of Communications, and Senior Director of Public Affairs. Steve earned an MBA with a concentration in Leadership from Lipscomb University between January 2009 and January 2010, where participation included membership in the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society and Delta Mu Delta Honor Society in Business Administration. In 1993, Steve graduated Salutatorian from the Basic Peace Officer Academy at Tarrant County Junior College.
