Andy Smetana is a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where the focus is on advising startups, emerging companies, and investors to foster growth opportunities across various industries. With a strong background in law, Andy co-founded the Austin office of Perkins Coie LLP, providing guidance from inception to exit for entrepreneurs and their investors. Additional roles include Board Member at CASA of Travis County, advocating for children in the foster system, and prior positions in leading law firms, including Vinson & Elkins and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Andy holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
