Érica Bianchi Barros Sakaizawa

Érica Bianchi Barros Sakaizawa has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and leadership. Érica is currently working as a Software Engineering Lead at Via starting from September 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at Santander Tecnologia, where they coordinated development squads for Digital Channels, managing deliveries for internet banking, web, and mobile applications. Érica also led the creation and launch of the Meu Bolso Santander application, driving development and applying agile methodologies. Before joining Santander Tecnologia, Érica worked as a Senior Technology Analyst at ISBAN, the Software Technology Company of Banco Santander, where they provided technical leadership for mobile banking projects and implemented agile practices. Érica started their career as a Project Coordinator at Stefanini, primarily focusing on the technical aspects of mobile banking projects and overseeing development, testing, and delivery activities.

Érica Bianchi Barros Sakaizawa has a diverse education history. Érica obtained their Graduate degree in Processamento de Dados from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 1998 to 2000. Later, in 2005 and 2006, Érica pursued a specialization in Engenharia de Software at IBTA - Instituto Brasileiro de Tecnologia Avançada. Érica further expanded their knowledge by completing an MBA in Gestão Estratégica e Econômica de Projetos from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2008 and 2010.

Érica's commitment to learning continued, and in 2013 and 2014, they completed another specialization, this time in Docência no Ensino Superior, at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. To enhance their expertise in technology and leadership, Érica obtained a certification in SSM SAFe 4.0 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in 2017.

Érica's most recent educational endeavor was in 2023 and 2024, where they engaged with the Strides Tech Community to complete a Tech Manager 5.0: liderança e gestão na prática program, furthering their knowledge in Tecnologia da Informação.
