Mikel Amilburu

Mikel Amilburu has extensive work experience in software engineering and product management. Mikel currently serves as the Head of Product at Casavo. Prior to that, they co-founded Realisti.co in 2015 and played a key role in building and growing the tech team. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at elipse | colorful coding, where they developed B2B applications for TNT Global Express and integrated systems for major clients like Apple, Amazon, and HP. Mikel also worked as a .Net Web Developer at Jusan Network and as a .NET Consultant at Intesa Sanpaolo, where they developed web tools for KPI tracking and SLA compliance reporting. Earlier in their career, they worked as a multimedia application developer at Net4biz and as a web developer at Mendiguren y Zarraua. Mikel started their career as an electrical mapping designer at Alecop S Coop.

Mikel Amilburu holds a Bachelor's degree in Ingenieria Tecnica Informatica de Gestion from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. Mikel pursued further education at Politecnico di Torino, where they completed a Master's degree in Multimedia Engineering from 2006 to 2008. In 2011, they attended Istituto Europeo di Design to pursue a degree in CSP Photography, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in 2018.
