Cascade Bicycle Club
Scout McFall has extensive experience in community engagement and leadership, currently serving as a Major Taylor Project Ride Leader at Cascade Bicycle Club since October 2012, where responsibilities include organizing after-school bike clubs at multiple schools in south King County. In addition to this role, Scout has worked at Outdoor Research since May 2014, taking on positions such as Bicycle Ambassador and Community Programs Assistant, and has been involved with UW IMA Crags as an instructor. In previous positions, Scout developed project management and facilitation skills as Committee Head at CEP, volunteered for TEDxRainier and the Unemployment Law Project, and held various roles in hospitality and landscaping. Scout holds a BA in Comparative Religion and Community, Environment, and Planning from the University of Washington and has a history of volunteerism with organizations like Amigos de las Americas.

Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation’s largest statewide bicycle organization, is powered by 8,500 members and serves bike riders of all ages and abilities throughout the Puget Sound region and across Washington state. We teach the joys of bicycling, advocate for safe places to ride, and produce world-class rides and events. Our signature programs include the Seattle to Portland, Free Group Rides, the Advocacy Leadership Institute, the Bike Walk Roll Summit, Let's Go, and the Major Taylor Project. We envision a safe and healthy future where bicycles bring people together, eliminate inequity, and create thriving communities. Cascade Bicycle Club brings people together to experience the joy of bicycling through transportation, recreation, and friendship. We collaborate with members, volunteers, and community partners to inspire people to advocate for a safe, equitable, and sustainable Washington state. We build confidence, leadership, knowledge, and community by teaching bicycle skills to all ages.
