Cascade Bicycle Club
Stephen Rowley is an experienced professional in the bicycle industry, currently serving as Education Director at Cascade Bicycle Club since April 2016, alongside roles as Fleet Manager and Fleet Coordinator. Prior experience includes a position as Technical Specialist at REI from 2009 to April 2016, a Bicycle Mechanic at Pronto! Bicycle Share in 2015-2016, and self-employment as a Math Tutor from 2012 to 2016. Prior to this, Stephen held the role of Assistant Manager at Continuum Gardens from 2007 to 2008. Academically, Stephen obtained a Master's degree in Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics from the University of Washington (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Anthropology with a Minor in Philosophy from New York University (2004-2008).

Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation’s largest statewide bicycle organization, is powered by 8,500 members and serves bike riders of all ages and abilities throughout the Puget Sound region and across Washington state. We teach the joys of bicycling, advocate for safe places to ride, and produce world-class rides and events. Our signature programs include the Seattle to Portland, Free Group Rides, the Advocacy Leadership Institute, the Bike Walk Roll Summit, Let's Go, and the Major Taylor Project. We envision a safe and healthy future where bicycles bring people together, eliminate inequity, and create thriving communities. Cascade Bicycle Club brings people together to experience the joy of bicycling through transportation, recreation, and friendship. We collaborate with members, volunteers, and community partners to inspire people to advocate for a safe, equitable, and sustainable Washington state. We build confidence, leadership, knowledge, and community by teaching bicycle skills to all ages.
